Itinerary:
Day 1 |
Flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires |
Upon arrival, you will be met at the Ezeiza International Airport and transferred to your hotel in this sophisticated city, often called the “Paris of the Americas” for its French architecture, wide boulevards and chic residents. In the evening, our Welcome Dinner will include an enchanting Tango Show.

Day 3 |
Buenos Aires |
Today we’ll tour the many neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, including the upscale barrios of Recoleta and Palermo, the shopping markets of San Telmo and the gritty and colourful La Boca.

Day 3 |
Ushuaia |
Morning flight (3 hours) to the Southern Most City in the World, the capital of Argentine Tierra del Fuego. Afternoon boat excursion on the Beagle Channel to view sea lions, cormorants and penguins.

Day 4 |
El Calafate |
Morning tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park. Afternoon flight to El Calafate, the heart of Southern Patagonia and the Glacier Capital of the Southern Hemisphere. Dinner will be a traditional asado, or barbecue, at a typical Patagonian estancia, or ranch.

Day 5 |
El Calafate |
Today we spend the entire day enjoying the beauty of the world-famous Perito Moreno Glacier in Glaciers National Park.

Day 6 |
El Chalten |
Our morning drive to the scenic village of El Chalten will take us through the rugged Patagonia Steppe. We’ll get our first glimpses of the incredible FitzRoy and Cerro Torre peaks and will visit the National Park Interpretive Centre. |
Day 7 |
El Chalten |
Hikers will head Torre Lake to see these remarkable and wild towers up close. An alternative is a lovely walk on the largest glacier in the Southern Ice Cap, the Viedma Glacier (extra charge), which we will access by boat.

Day 8 |
Bariloche |
We depart El Chalten in the morning, stopping for lunch at El Calafate before boarding a flight to Bariloche, in Patagonia’s lush and lovely Lake District.

Day 9 |
Bariloche |
Today we will tour the highlights of the Bariloche area, including the scenic Circuito Chico drive, the Cerro Catedral Ski Resort (‘The Aspen of South America’) and the Campanario Sightseeing Lift.

Day 10 |
Bariloche |
We head south of Bariloche to the Los Alerces Waterfall, Mascardi Lake and Mt. Tronador, with plenty of stops to enjoy the views and go for a swim.

Day 11 |
Bariloche |
You choose between the many activities this area offers including whitewater rafting, golfing, horseback riding, and fly-fishing. Others may choose a visit to Bariloche’s finest shops, gourmet food boutiques, artisan markets and museums.

Day 12

Bariloche |
Second day to choose your activity.

Day 13 |
San Martin de los Andes |
We journey north from Bariloche on the scenic “Seven Lakes Route” to the charming town of San Martin de los Andes.

Day 14 |
Bariloche |
We return to Bariloche through the Cordoba Pass, entering the Patagonia Steppe for a taste of something different – the Lake District’s desert-like neighbour. In the evening, we’ll celebrate our Farewell Dinner with a typical asado barbecue in a traditional, familiar style.

Day 15 |
Return flight |
Departing Bariloche in the morning, you will be transferred to Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, where you will board your flight home.
