Where is Patagonia?
The sometimes difficult-to-define region known as Patagonia is usually considered to begin at the 40th Parallel South at the bottom cone of South America. Patagonia is as much an idea as it is an officially designated region. On the Argentine side of the Andes Mountains, Patagonia is the land south of the Rio Colorado (see map).

Safety
Argentina’s recent economic woes have made headlines. While domestically, politicians are working to stabilize the situation, from a tourist point of view, it is business as usual. In fact, there may not be a better time to visit Argentina – prices are low, quality is high and Argentines are embracing a new sense of hope. Patagonia is a long way from the hustle outside banks and government buildings in Buenos Aires.
Schedules
We operate summer programs during the Austral Summer, between October and April, and skiing programs from July through September.
