  POSTCARDS FROM PATAGONIA April 2008

Ski in Patagonia This Summer!
It’s the ultimate summer break – a ski and snowboard adventure in Patagonia. How’s the skiing? You choose between hardcore ski mountaineering, off-piste free-riding or mile-long groomers. PTC’s trips combine cozy lodges, great food and wine, a cultural delight, and the best ski guides in South America. Don’t miss this chance to ski in Patagonia with the real insiders. Trips run from July through early October, starting at $2795 per person. Contact us for more information.

Salta La Linda
We took a special group up to the far Northwest of Argentina in February and fell in love with the staggering beauty of its landscape, its colonial architecture and the quiet friendliness of its people. A world away from Patagonia, there is a lot of buzz about Salta, especially amongst our return clients. It’s particularly lovely to visit Salta April through October. Our four-day tours start at $559.

Llao Llao’s new Suites
The emblematic Llao Llao Resort in Bariloche is often considered the top resort in South America, a classic luxury mountain lodge. The views are only matched by the outstanding service. With 42 new lakeside studios and suites, it’s more comfortable than ever. But rooms get gobbled up quickly, especially during the peak months of December through February.

Patagonian Panache - Argentina and Chile: 16 days in February
A fully-escorted luxury tour of Patagonia includes Buenos Aires, Los Glaciares National Park, Bariloche and the Lakes Crossing into Chile. There’s hiking, horseback riding, great food and wine, and time to relax. Scheduled for February 2008. We’ll take the first 12 to sign up. Contact us for details.

What our Guests are saying
“Our holiday in Argentina and Chile was filled with rich experiences. Each day offered unexpected exciting opportunities, quality time to savour special moments and ample time to relax and reflect. Christie’s careful planning combined with Max’s love of nature and unending desire to explore made every moment count. This was an unforgettable holiday – one of the best we have ever experienced!” Mel and Elaine Snider, Toronto, ON

Why Travel With Us
1. We are Patagonian locals who live and work here. We know the North American market very well, but unlike many companies selling trips to Patagonia, this is our hometown, our backyard, and we will be here in person the entire time you and your family are here.

2. We customize trips for our clients and can offer a great amount of flexibility that many others can’t offer, even during the trip itself. Don’t like the day’s plans, no problem. Weather not good for kayaking? How about sailing? Feel like sleeping in? That’s just fine.

3. A trip with us and our guides is a window into the authentic Patagonia. You’ll be with us and our friends, and you will make friends of your own here. While we are professionals, if you chose to do so, we would love to invite you inside our homes.

4. The only product we sell is Patagonia. We don’t run trips elsewhere in the world.

Make your Patagonian dreams come true in 2008!
There’s no jetlag, an endless amount of adventure and inspiration to discover, great value and a heavy dose of charm. Argentina is one of the world’s most exciting vacation destinations. And we’re the specialists!
